HOw it all began?
When i was around 18 years old, I had no interest in photography, I thought it was lame and only weirdo's took pictures. A close friend of mine brought his DSLR camera along with him one day when we were hiking. The entire time we were hiking I watched him capture amazing scenery, and I thought to myself "man i wish i had a camera". For my 19th birthday I received my first camera, and it hasn't left my hands since. I then started messing with the settings of my camera, researching different techniques, and studying. After a year of constantly improving, my photos were finally turning out the way I wanted. And I still have so much to learn.
What Drives my passion
Im all for just going out, taking photos, and sharing them with individuals who have the same interests. I take pride in the work I do, and the fact that theres always something new to improve on just adds to the excitement. Im not concerned if its raining, snowing, or intensely hot, I love a new challenge in a different environment. I also have a fantastic sense of adventure, staying in one spot isn't always satisfying to me. I try and leave the state of Michigan every day i have off work. My friends and I, really enjoy taking day trips to new locations to find a photography spot. Im out creating almost everyday I can, I can't imagine a day without shooting. If I'm not photographing, its a waste of a day.
